PG Exploration Festival 2026

This year I had the pleasure of acting in not one, but TWO beautiful one-act plays developed by dear friends and border-town colleagues at The PlayGround Experiment. You can learn more about the PGE here: PGE’s Page.

First up we had Save Me, Toño Robens, a hilarious dark comedy about dealing with loss, where I got to play the hilarious Tony… I mean Toño Robens, with an “E”. Denisse Estefany Mendoza Valdez is truly a talented and master artist at mixing pain, love and humor in a healing way.

In repertory, we shifted into Angustias by Orlando F. Rodriguez. This ghost story blends magic and truth in the only way Orlando know’s how. I previously directed an earlier version of this script, and it was my honor to take on the lead role for the most recent presentation at the PGE.

As you can see, we had a blast, I got to try new things with amazing and talented artists and I can’t wait for more. Keep writing mis amores!
